Retaining walls

Retaining walls are a functional, attractive solution to unstable and sloped terrains. They are often used to hold back (retain) hillsides and help prevent soil erosion and landslides. They create more useful spaces for everything from patios, paths, and driveways, to roads, parking lots, or any construction that requires a flat surface.

Retaining walls can be constructed of many different materials and with a variety of building techniques.We create  Interlocking retaining wall stones, natural stone retaining walls, concrete retaining walls,  landscape retaining walls, patio stone retaining walls. Either rigid, monolithic, poured concrete can be used or steel, timber, blocks, and reinforced soil as well.

  • Ground water conditions and soil characteristics.

Other factors might be material availability, building codes, site accessibility, aesthetics, local building practice, etc.  The fact is that all retaining walls serve to hold back a vertical or near vertical face of soil that would, without adequate retention, cave, slump or slide to a more natural slope.
